16/10/2020 - A Day in the Life of a Beekeeper Beehive Relocation Specialist :-)

As a beehive relocator Spring is my busiest time. I spend many days racking up the kilometres as I drive from beehive to beehive. This video gives a glimps of what a simple day looks like :-) 1: Started the day on a roof in Bolinda beevacing a beehive out of a chimney. 2: Progressed to Kyneton to box up a new hive from inside a meterbox. 3: Over to Metcalfe to catch a baby swarm on a vineyard where we sometimes put our hives. 4: Up to Castlemaine to look at a beehive in another chimney. 5: Down to Gisborne Secondary school at the request of Macedon Ranges Council where the supervised crossing lights had sprung another swarm.
