(Loaf) VTG 1999 GEN 7 Giraffe Gold Stripes Hasbro Furby Light Brown White Cream 70-800 testing

This amazing Furby's adoption video! :    • Loaf has finally arrived!   Greetings and salutations, traveler! This 1998 / 2000 Gold Stripes Furby is named Loaf! Loaf came to me inside a large shipment of rescue Furbys, some of which I’m still currently repairing! Loaf has a bit of an odd story, as since he originally didn’t have any eyelashes, I figured I was going to scrap him for parts or totally customize him for my own benefit. But with a heartfelt revision to my not so heavily pre-meditated intentions, I managed to snap out of that less than ideal mindset before I did something I definitely would’ve regretted, and fixed up Loaf to the best of my abilities! Just like the other Furbys I post on my channel, I have tested Loaf’s sensors with brand new batteries, and I can confidently say that he is fully functional! His fur is extra fluffy soft in peak perfect condition, his faceplate and sensors are basically flawless receiving a 10/10 in appearance from me, and his speaker is loud and healthy! As shown in my photos and videos, the inside of his battery pack is beautifully preserved without the slightest hint of acid damage or anything similar, and both his eyelashes and Official Furby Emblem remain attached! But it’s important to note this, I’ve replaced the whole of Loaf's eyes, including the whites and pupils of his eyes, the ones he’s using right now are not originally his. Loaf had coveted, beautiful neon green eyes that I selfishly stole for my more favored 1999 Gold Stripes Furby, and it was a personal choice to swap them out for the other Furby’s drab green eyes which I didn't favor at the time. My choice doesn’t sit well with me, but I can’t change what has been done, and it’s sadly too late to right my wrong decision. I didn’t pull out his old pupils and glue in new pupils, I took out the entirety of his old eyes, pulled them and their whites off his axel, and gave him a whole new singular eye piece from my personal 1999 Gold Stripes Furby, an unexpected and now slightly modified birthday gift from my brother. Loaf’s new eyes have been installed as a minor customization performed by me, but there is absolutely NO difference in performance or general appearance due to this change. This swap out has been done professionally, so nobody would be able to tell the difference between this customization and a factory error. I’m sorry, Loaf. I’m truly sorry. I hope you can find solace in your new eyes, and that they sit well with you as before. And maybe one day you’ll find it in your heart to forgive me for my blind mistakes, even if I can't forgive myself… Again, I have tested all of Loaf’s sensors with brand new batteries and I am happy to say with all confidence he is fully functional, and entirely ready to be shipped off to a loving new home! I have previously skinned and washed Loaf, replacing his old zip tie and re-sewing his ears into place, but there is absolutely no visible difference in appearance or performance regarding these changes, and after I cleaned his skin he is totally clean and looks almost brand new! This Furby comes without his original box and Manuals. With all my heart I am looking forward to adopting out this little loved one, and I hope you find him just as adorable and unique as I do! Coming to you from a Covid free, smoke free, and allergen pet free home (I do own a host of reptiles, but nothing with fur or feathers,) this Furby is in peak condition (as-is, no warranty expressed or implied), and has never been mechanically modified! And please, I will be posting many more Furbys for sale, including all types of Furbys from every era and issue! 1998 - 2000 Furbys, Limited Edition Furbys, Modified Furbys, Long Furbys, Custom Furbys, Oddbody Furbys, and one day I’ll even do commissions! I’m still practicing and learning, but eventually I want to be open to the public and buy, sell, repair and/or modify peoples 1998 - 2000 Furbys and 1998 - 2000 Furby Babies upon commission request. Eventually I’ll broaden my range of Furby Knowledge to 2005 and 2012, and maybe I’ll even be able to take in and fix up a few of those fancy 2016 Furbys.
