Known as the Hammer of XVIII Airborne Corps, the Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield based 3rd Infantry Division is the only Armored Division east of the Mississippi River. The 3rd Infantry Division continues to enhance and upgrade warfighting capabilities with the most lethal ground and rotary wing combat equipment available in the world. (U.S. Army video by Pfc.
