Artist Kari Hume teaches us how to make over jars with alcohol ink and fire! –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– ***WARNING: Alcohol ink is extremely flammable. Please use caution when participating in this project. Failure to use proper safety precautions may result in injury. Set fire to SMALL amounts of alcohol ink only by using a long BBQ lighter, keeping hands away from the opening of the jar and far away from the flame. Flashfires can occur when too much ink is lit on fire at once. DO NOT drop fresh ink into the jar while ink is still burning (NOTE: A flame may not always be easily visible when ink is still burning - you will know burning is complete when you see no more subtle movement of the ink blot). Failure to comply may result in the ink dropper you are holding catching fire. Please wait until ink has finished burning before applying more ink. Wasagaming Community Arts cannot be held responsible for any damages/injuries that may occur as the result of failure to comply with proper safety precautions.*** This workshop is part of Wasagaming Community Arts's winter programming, funded by Sport Culture and Heritage Manitoba. While donations are always welcome, instruction and materials are free while supplies last. Pease contact [email protected] or [email protected] to find out how you can pick up supplies for today's project. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– More projects to come, keep checking back! –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Check out more of Kari's work: / transfiguredbykari –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Track: Lovesight — DayFox [Audio Library Release] Music provided by Audio Library Plus Watch: • Lovesight — DayFox | Free Background Music...
