FIRE DEPT SAVED 96 PEOPLE & 565 ANIMALS IN 2020: ASHOK MENON

Director of Fire and Emergency Services Ashok Menon has informed that in 2020, the fire department has attended to 6218 fire and emergency calls and have saved 96 humans and 565 animals. Addressing the gathering during Fire Department's Annual Inspection Day Parade, Menon has said that during the Covid crisis the fire department has sanitized 3740 places around the state.
