Cardinals from across the world attended a mourning mass at St Peter's Basilica on Wednesday (April 30), which was held in memory of the late Pope Francis. Cardinal Leonardo Sandri presided over the service, which took place on the fifth day of Novendiali (nine days of mourning after the Pope's funeral). The cardinals have descended on Rome ahead of the conclave, which will begin on May 7 and take place in the Sistine Chapel.
