We Choose Better: A Short Film starring Drag Race UK's Ella Vaday x ManyPets

To mark Pride season, ManyPets wanted to raise awareness about the importance of chosen families in queer communities, and the relationship between the LGBTQIA+ community and their pets. So we made a film to celebrate this, starring RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist Ella Vaday. We choose better - we choose love, support, kindness. And we won’t stop until we get it. The video celebrates the concept of chosen family - a group of people to whom you are emotionally close and consider ‘family’ while not biologically or legally related - and is underpinned by fresh research from us highlighting the positive impact pets can have on LGBTQIA+ experiences, and how pets can play an important role in chosen families.
