Written by Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George David Weiss, Can't Help Falling In Love, was originally recorded by Elvis Presley in 1961 for the soundtrack to the movie titled, Blue Hawaii. It has since been covered by numerous artists including Perry Como, Doris Day, Andy Williams, Engelbert Humperdink, and Shirley Bassey. The Stylistics began working with Hugo and Luigi as their producers in 1974 and as the disco boom hit they recorded their uptempo disco version of Can't Help Falling In Love. The song entered the U.S. Billboard chart in April of 1976 and peaked at #52. In the U.K. however, the song went to #4 on the U.K.Billboard chart.
