#90skidsfavourite #Halkova #Palkova #Nomaidasweet #Youreverydaycook From kids to elders every one will love this delicious sweet called Halkova originally made with maida and sold in small petty tea shops for a small amount . A quick sweet for that sudden craving and kids can enjoy as no maida used . you can reduce sweetness as per your wish . Frankly it is like pottukdalai urundai ( ladoo ) but with little more ghee , or maa ladoo . That extra ghee is added so that it sets like a barfi .That is the only difference between Halkova /palkova made using fried gram and pottukadalai ladoo . Delicious 90 s popular sweet Halkova 😋made using fried gram Powder instead of Maida as in the original method . This also reduces preparation time to less than 5 minutes as no cooking of mixture involved . As Fried gram is already pre roasted when we buy from the store , all we need to do is powder both fried gram and sugar to a smooth powder . Add to melted hot ghee , mix well till a smooth dough is formed , press this mixture. Onto a greased tray . Allow to cool and set in refrigerator. Within. 20 minutes a delightful sweet is set and ready .
