Witness: Lightning may have caused apartment f

WATERVLIET - Witnesses say a lightning strike may have caused a fire at an apartment building in Watervliet on Sunday. Fire crews from Latham responded to the Hudson Preserve Apartments with reports of a fire at building 9. Shana Entin tells CBS6 that lighting hit something, heard a loud boom and saw smoke appear from the roof of the building. She then said that her fiance called 911 and she then pounded on doors and rang doorbells. Fire crews put the fire out quickly. CBS6 has calls into the Fire Chief to confirm a lightning strike as the cause of the fire. There were no reported injuries.
