Note: I am NOT a speedrunner, so my videos are not perfect. I'm uploading these as a way of showing people the shortcuts and glitches that I have seen online and can prove whether or not they work on the PS2 version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. They may work on other versions, they may not. I don't know, so please don't ask me about it. Apologies about the video quality. I don't have a means of recording my console gaming except for taping off of the television with the digital camera. This shortcut is easy and saves a nice chunk of time. To perform it, after you've pulled the switch, climb up the ladder and jump to the higher shimmy ledge. From there, you'll want to move Lara to a specific point on the ledge. Do you notice how I stop for a moment, and when I move again, the camera angle turns very quickly? That's the point where you want to be. Lara's back is now to the arm of the statue behind her. From here, jump off backwards. She'll catch the edge of the arm and you'll have bypassed part of the tedious climbing around between the statues. From here, you can do the scarab puzzle as usual on this statue and finish the two statues puzzle as normal as well. Good luck.
