The Swisse Active team of Jarad Kohler and James Pretto extended their lead on day three of the Swiss Mark Webber Tasmania Challenge. People might think Formula 1 drivers are a bunch of lazy, unfit millionaires given they spend most of their work days sat down. However, if Red Bull driver Mark Webber is anything to go by they are in fact a bunch of fitness obsessed millionaires. The Swiss Mark Webber Tasmania Challenge reached day three on Friday, with the Australian driver joining the rest of the field at the start of a six kilometre on Four Mile Beach. While Webber has little chance of winning his own competition he seems to be enjoying his time away from Formula 1. Mark Webber: "(Day) Three is another big day mate. We've got a coastal run to start with, sand rocks and then a long paddle, a 20k paddle pretty much. A really good day, nice backdrop but just the race at the front the guys are absolutely shredding each other, they're coming together at the checkpoints. It's basically down to seconds in terms of how much they're pushing each other throughout the day so we've never seen it this tight into this length, duration of the race so it will be interesting to see how it goes today." At the head of the field are the Swisse Active team of Victorians Jarad Kohler and James Pretto, who found the ocean kayaking part of the day more to their liking as they extended their lead to 23 minute and 25 seconds on the water. Team Tasmania's Richard Ussher and Braden Currie will be desperately hoping they can close the gap on the leaders before the challenge reaches its conclusion in Hobart on Sunday.
