Deltic 55022 | GBRF Jolly To Weston Super Mare | ECS Passes Highbridge 20th Aug 2011
Saturday 20th August saw the "Jolly GBFR's outing" from Peterborough to Weston Super Mare utilising the power of Deltic 55022. Having relinquished itself of all the party, 55022 took the empty stock south and is seen passing Highbridge early afternoon in the pouring rain! Its return journey, also seen heading through Highbridge in better weather is captured from the end of platform 1. Unfortunately, it was following the local stopper and therefore wasn't utilising its full power. 2nd visit of 55022 in the last month - FAB!
