The Sebo Felix Pet edition is very light weight and very easy to move. You can go ahead and vacuum carpeting, or floor, area rugs with this vacuum cleaner with ease. To turn it on, all we do is hit the switch right here on the handle. That turns it on high, but, I can even reduce the suction by turning that down like that giving you less suction when I'm doing the draperies or upholstery or anything like that. This handle is a little bit short for me, so I'm going to raise it up by taking my thumb, pushing right here, and now that handle raises up to lock in the upper position, or I can open it and lock it in the center position. I'm a little bit taller so I'm going to raise it up to the top position here. Now I'm going to go ahead and use the Sebo Felix upright vacuum cleaner. First, I put my foot on the foot release pedal right here and I Switch ON the Vacuum Cleaner. Now I'm going to vacuum up all this dirt off the floor on the carpet. I'm going to take my foot and tap the green light here which actually is a switch, and I'm going to go right onto the bare floor. Now as you can see the neck swivel, there's something I want to point out here about this Sebo machine. The Sebo onyx Felix itself has a swivel neck. It swivels 180 degrees, and the vacuum itself will lay flat. Now that's a six inch clearance up to right here, about an inch and a half more when you have the crevice tool, but this will lay flat and go underneath most every single bed, couch or anything like that. No problem at all. And we pull this back and lock it in the upright position. Power brush: The power brush has all three fundamentals that I believe that are really required to clean carpet effectively 1. Height adjustment. 2. Chevron style roller. 3. Smart track belt system. One thing that's unique about Sebo's chevron roller are the nylon bristles that are pretty stiff and it's going to channel all the dirt into the suction chamber and from this side as well in the suction chamber which is along the side here. What's really cool about it is the clean out port. Lift that up right there, now I can get in and clean out if there's ever obstruction or anything like that in the vacuum cleaner itself, and we have the smart track belt here. So we have all three of the elements, but, it's a Sebo, it's made in Germany. Designed extremely well so we have one extra element, and that is the German element. We push right here and what I do is I take this, give it a little quarter twist. I pull out the end cap, I'm automatically able to take out the brush roller, and clean out the roller brush. When you have pet hair you know that hair is going to get wrapped around that roller brush. Any vacuum that has a roller brush will get pet hair wrapped around it. This brush roller pops out very easily, so you can go ahead and take the scissors to cut it off and when you're done, just pop the roller right back in, give it a little twist and you're good to go vacuum. This is something that only Sebo has, as we said, they are made in Germany, designed in Germany, and it is patented, so only Sebo offers that. The brush roller locks back into place very easily.
