Aloo Tikki, also known as Aloo Ki Tikkia or Aloo Ki Tikki, is a fried potato snack that is very popular in Pakistan, India and many other regions. These delicate potato cutlets are made using boiled mashed potatoes to which spices are added and then deep fried to give a crunchy outer casing with a soft, mildly spiced potato filling inside. My Aloo Tikkis are perfect to serve up with a hot cup of tea and some chutney to dunk them in or could be put into a burger bun with some salad as a nice vegetarian meal.
