Funny story, I started making this before the invasion started, then got stuck playing the update, but then the president died, which inspired me to lock in and finish it. Originally the guy holding the flag was just supposed to be some random Helldiver. But with the context of the president's last stand, it made more sense for him to be an honor guard type guy -- maybe this was a last ditch attempt to buy the president time to escape, or something like that.
