This video shows every character in the base roster in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (2023) being used for the minigames sections Pop the Slime Balloons and Whack-a-Bot. While I did use every character in the game's roster (except for the DLCs), the order of them in this video is actually based on how often or occasionally I play as them (and also citing my opinions about them). 🟥 My Mains: 1. SpongeBob SquarePants Although SpongeBob is usually the starter in most Nickelodeon games, he still is a lot of fun to play as, like his moveset and super move, which is one of the funniest in the game, yet I still prefer his design in NASB 1, as well as some of his old moves there. 2. Lucy Loud Despite Lucy being the only Loud House character playable in the game, I still have a lot of fun playing as her, as well as some of her new moves in her moveset. I also personally think she is quite underrated in the game and that her super move does not get much love either. She might be the first to SpongeBob. 3. Jenny Wakeman/XJ-9 Though a DLC in the NASB 1, Jenny is now a base character in this game, and her moves are pretty strong, and is also fun to play as, although she is quite slow when using some strong attacks. Her super move is also considered to be the quickest in the game. 4. Danny Phantom/Danny Fenton Some of Danny's new moves in his moveset are as good as in NASB 1 and he is also fast-paced with his moves. 5. Jimmy Neutron A good addition to the game, Jimmy is also fun to play as, despite his moveset being complicated for me to master, although I still wish his father, Hugh, could have remained playable in the game. 🟧 Also Liked Playing As: 1. Aang Aang's moveset has improved a lot compared to NASB 1, as he now has the ability to waterbend, earthbend and firebend, than just only airbend, and he is now much easier to play (and is also fun to play as). 2. Korra Although Korra is still tad-bit limited, I still liked playing as her and some of her new moves are better than before. 3. Garfield Garfield seems to have improved in this game as he is now given sugar rush, which makes him much faster to move and attack, making him better than in NASB 1. 4. Ren & Stimpy Ren & Stimpy are really funny to play as. Their moveset and super move are also funny, though I still prefer some of their old moves in NASB 1 (like their new neutral strong attack now has a shorter range compared to the previous game, which was longer), and that they now move slower in NASB 2. 5. April O'Neil I also liked playing as April too, as she happens to have some pretty strong moves. Her super move is also one of my favorites as it directly references the Spirit Bomb in the Dragon Ball series. 🟨 Occasionally Played As: 1. Rocko Although Rocko is pretty overrated (due to how often he is used or requested), he still is funny to play as and his super move is definitely one of the funniest. 2. Reptar I also liked playing as Reptar, since he is really strong and bears a striking resemblance to Godzilla (whom I also liked very much), although he is slow due to being a heavyweight fighter. 3. Azula Azula is also a good addition and she, as well as her moves, are pretty fast for a fighter, though some of them are quite mid. 3. El Tigre/Manny Rivera El Tigre is also quite overrated too due to how he is often picked by most players, but he's still a good addition to the game as he, and his show, are underrated. 4. Ember McLain Ember is also a good addition, since I personally find her to be an underrated Danny Phantom villain, though some of her moves, particularly her recovery, is quite slow. 5. Raphael Raph is also fast for a fighter as he is really quick, so does his moves, although some of them lack killpower, since they don't seem to be enough to K.O. his opponents. 6. Donatello Some of Donnie's moves are pretty strong and good, although he can be quite slow, as well as his recovery. 7. Angry Beavers (Daggett and Norbert) Daggett and Norbert are also good additions to the game since they, along with their show, are definitely underrated, and their moveset is really good. 🟩 Not Used Alot: 1. Patrick Star Despite Patrick's moveset having some improvements, I still don't play as him alot due to how slow and complicated his moveset still is. 2. Squidward Tentacles Though Squidward is pretty quick and has some strong moves. I don't play as him much, since I (kind of) think he is used alot. 3. Sheldon J. Plankton Although Plankton is a good addition, he is slow, even when dashing, making him easy to combo. 4. Zim Zim may be fast, but, being a lightweight, he still is very easy to get K.O.'d. 🟦 Barely Used: 1. Nigel Thornberry Nigel's moveset is quite bad and complicated to play as. 2. Gerald Johanssen I wished Arnold himself is in the game instead of Gerald nor Gertie. 3. Gertie Shortman Gertie's moves are slow and risky and not into her very much. Hope you guys enjoy the video.
