Sonlight Elementary Worship: Matthew 14:13-21 (December 13th, 2020)

Hello dear friend~ Can you believe that we are only 12 days away from Christmas? I am counting down the days, are you? My friend, have you ever thought how AMAZING it is that God sent Jesus from heaven to earth on Christmas day? Being a God must be like being the most powerful King in the universe! There's no good reason for a powerful King of heaven to come down to a sinful and messy earth. And yet, Jesus the Son of God came down to earth with a mission. He came to make sure all would know that all would be saved by believing that HE is the True Son of God. Only Jesus was able to turn water into wine; only Jesus was able to raise a dead person to life; only Jesus was able to calm a chaotic storm (that's last week's story!); only Jesus could feed over 5,000 people (hint hint!). If you met the Son of God, would YOU know who He is? although you and I may not see Jesus walking around the mall or in the streets, we have something just as good; the Bible and Holy Spirit! Today, my friend, you and I have the chance to say: "Jesus, you are the one true Son of God! I choose to worship You!" I pray today as well, that your heart would be open to receiving the truth of Jesus, and that what follows will be much peace, hope and joy.
