Starset - My Demons - Live - 9/24/21

Starset 4.5/5 The singer was phenomenal great voice I wish I knew more of his stuff to sing along to. Has a great clean sound and it works really well with the style of music. He also has excellent screams and could go a long ass time doing it. They are futurists and pro technology as a gimmick so they looked very futuristic I thought the singer was gonna die of heat stroke he came out in a wool over coat like someone going to Antarctica a would wear he had to drink like 5 water bottles during the set. Also they had a cello and a violin so very unique metal band but it was very solid. A big notables we’re first song and demons. Demons sounded amazing just like the record and he dove in the crowd and crowd surfer singing it. They did have some sound engineering problems early on but still overall what a great set. This is my own personal reviews for concerts so I can remember what I liked and didn’t like. I made these long before I ever thought to put the concert videos on YouTube but thought it would give the viewer a better overall understanding of how the band/artist is live. I would also like to preface that my favorite thing in the world is to like things so it is very hard for me to be critical and I often score many bands highly. My rating system is out of 5 but you will rarely see a score below 3.5. I score a 3.5 as good, 4 as very good, 4.5 as great, and 5 as excellent. There are 4.75 and 4.25 reserved for bands that deserved more than a 4.5 and 4 respectively but I couldn’t bump them all the way up
