On November 24, 2009, John Edward Jones, a young father and medical student, became trapped in Nutty Putty Cave in Utah. Despite the efforts of over 130 rescuers, after 27 hours of trying, John lost his life. This tragic event led to the permanent closure of the cave, which became his final resting place.
