1. Mother's Restaurant-Address: 401 Poydras Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130. Mother's restaurant is a super popular New Orleans, Louisiana institution. This unique seafood, Jambalaya, Gumbo shrimp, and flavorful seafood establishment has been around since 1938. That would have been over 8 decades since this interesting institution became a humungous local business for the whole entire community in downtown New Orleans which serves up cafeteria style delicious seafood options that you could ever imagine from including fresh shrimp, oysters, catfish, soft shell crab, Po-Boy sandwiches which are super ginormous and who can not forget they are most popular for their worlds best baked ham that you will ever have in your life time visiting Mother's Restaurant. I would highly recommend checking it out because their Jambalaya combo which comes with a side of cheesy grits, potato salad, gumbo shrimp which was super well seasoned with a side of a enormous biscuit and red beans and I got the chance to try their whole pecan pie. They're red beans and Jambalaya with gumbo is perfectly marinated and you can tell they put a ton of effort in cooking it and those grits were extra cheesy and those are the best grits I have had in a long time. Olde Nola Cookery serves so many different kinds of New Orleans style seafood dishes including Po-Boy Sandwiches that are super enormous and almost a foot-long. I ordered their Daniel's Po-Boy sandwich which had special seafood toppings including Blackened shrimp which was topped with crawfish cream and mushroom cream sauce. In my own opinion I thought the humungous foot-long New Orleans style Po-Boy sandwich had a extra crunchiness to it on the edge which was perfect and dipping that giant foot-long Daniel Po-Boy sandwich into the crawfish cream and mushroom sauce was extra creamy and was perfectly balanced. It does a lot of business for residents who live in downtown New Orleans or any visitors visiting from different cities throughout the United States or in different countries around the world. Bourbon street has a lot of hopping bars, extra delectable New Orleans style local restaurant franchises and hotels including the Four Points by Sheraton and Royal Sonesta that visitors can stay at and spend a lot of time with friends and family and hang out on Bourbon street and grab a super flavorful Louisiana style dinner and hang-out and listen to beautiful and professional singers throughout the beautiful neighborhood. When I was experiencing Wakin' Bakin' I ordered their Cajun style smashed has which had tasteful toppings that included Creole-spice boiled red potatoes and it came with a side of a breakfast themed and style over easy egg on top which had the perfect amount of runniest to it which is one of my all time favorite parts about breakfast. In my opinion I thought the smashed hash was extra crispy on the edges and the biscuits were perfectly golden brown like there was no tomorrow. The bacon and over easy eggs had a nice soft texture and they melted right through my mouth right away. It was such a perfectly filling breakfast. Wakin' Bakin' has been around since 2010.
