Star Wars Souls Ring Bounty Hunter Locations : • Every Bounty Hunter encounter in Star Wars... If the editing looks a little weird, thats because i put footage of cutscenes and gameplay together, plus the Vader segment having a two segments since i somehow missed a jump lol --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a Star Wars fan. I watched the movies and TV shows (except Resistance), but ive never played the games. I played the Lego games like Complete Saga and The Clone Wars, plus the Republic Heroes game all on the DS, but not the other releases. I played a bit of EA's Battlefront 2 as well but thats about it. However, ever since i started getting into the "Soulslike"/"Souls Inspired" games, one stood amongst the other and it was Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Ive heard of this game before and how its considered one of the best Star Wars games ever released and thus the game was on my radar for quite a while. It was until now when i got the chance to play it, mostly to take a little break from Elden Ring and have something to play before the Blasphemous 2 DLC. After two playthroughs of this game, one on Jedi Master and NG+ on Jedi Grandmaster, what do i think of it? Well, its really good, prob the best Star Wars game ive played, but that isnt saying much since i havent dug deep into Star Wars games, but at least from the ones ive played this one come on top. To start, my favorite thing in this game is the overall scenery and world in this game. It pretty much adds new planets while expanding on existing ones by adding unique locations and creatures to make the planets feel alive. I really liked seeing wildlife walk around and interact with other enemies like Imperial Troops which elevates things further. I also liked the intrigue into this ancient civilization of the Zeffo and the lore behind it. The fanservice in here is effective and not at all intrusive. One of my issues with current SW is how obnoxiously fanservicey it can be by putting references to past movies and cartoons in your face and expecting you to cheer, and i was glad how this game utilizes it rather well by showcasing that something was there before and adding to the world. On other stuff, I liked exploring these planets by discovering hidden stuff and going through these ancient ruins and wreckage of other ships, my favorite planet being Kashyyyk. One last thing is the combat was pretty fun and as you got upgrades, the game throws stuff at you to make use of what you learned, plus it has a skill tree that makes you add new moves and upgrades which come in handy every once in a while. As for the thing i didnt like, the bosses. The bosses are pretty hit or miss, and most of them are either buffed versions of regular enemies, or bosses that later become enemies like the Security Droid, and dont get me started on the Bounty Hunters... theyre mostly glorified versions of regular enemies with added moves with unique one being the Bounty Droid. The standouts on the bosses are pretty much the lightsaber fights and Gorgara since theyre the most unique out of the bunch. Another thing i didnt like was that certain parts of the exploration can be tedious at times since theres no fast travel (despite this game being a 3D Metroidvania) and despite the game giving shortcuts, exploration can be a bit exhausting, specially revisiting areas to get the collectables, secrets and Bounty Hunters. Oh yeah, the reward for exploration is hardly worth it since its mostly cosmetics while the latter half being something useful like heals. And as for my favorite bosses... well, The Ninth Sister was the best one by far with honorable mention going to Gorgara and Second Sister.
