As Russia-Ukraine war escalates, Indian embassy in Ukraine issues immediate advisory!

Attention Indians in Ukraine! Please ensure that you are safe as Russia-Ukraine war escalates to a level where we couldn’t predict what will happen next! And now Embassy asks Indians to leave Ukraine at the earliest. "In view of the deteriorating security situation and recent escalation of hostilities across Ukraine, Indian nationals are advised against travelling to Ukraine, The Indian citizens, including students, currently in Ukraine are advised to leave Ukraine at the earliest by available means reads the advisory updated by Indian embassy I Ukraine on its twitter handle. It is quite horrifying that the war between Russia and Ukraine is intensifying, the war between Putin and Zelensky seems never ending ever since seven-eight months of its start. Seeing this situation, India on Wednesday issued an advisory asking all its citizens to avoid travelling to Ukraine, citing the "deteriorating security situation" in the country. On October 10, after Russia retaliated to the bombing of the bridge to Crimea over Kerch Strait, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv had issued an advisory asking Indians in Ukraine to avoid all non-essential travel in view of the escalation in hostilities. Indians were also asked to keep the Indian Embassy informed about their whereabouts. It is all after a huge cloud of fear formed across Ukraine because of the novel war strategies coming back to back from putin’s side. Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared martial law in four regions of Ukraine. The regions include Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk. Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian cities are still ongoing. Electricity and water supply have been disrupted in Zytomir and Nipro regions. Meanwhile, the United States has pointed out that attacks by Russian and Iranian-made kamikasi drones are war crimes. The images of people fleeing Kherson were broadcast by Russian state TV which portrayed the exodus - from the right to left bank of the River Dnipro - as an attempt to clear the city of civilians before it became a combat zone. In a move which looked designed to help Russia firm its grip on the Ukrainian regions it partly occupies - including Kherson - Putin told his Security Council he was introducing martial law in them. Beyond much tighter security measures on the ground, it was unclear what the immediate impact of that would be. Eight months after being invaded, Ukraine is prosecuting major counter-offensives in the east and south to try to take as much territory as it can before winter after routing Russian forces in some areas. #Indians #Ukraine #RussiaUkrainewar #Kaumudyglobal
