What is this game?: Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is a standalone title for Saints Row IV, as the base game itself is not required to play the standalone title itself. Gat out of Hell has you playing as Johnny Gat and/or Kinzie Kensington (because co-op reasons), as you venture into Hell and do everything that will eventually lead to, as Johnny says it, "Shoot the Devil in the face". And by everything, yes, I mean everything, from completing activities like Torment Fraud, to collecting soul clusters (which are like data clusters in SRIV) to upgrade your superpowers, to just straight up killing demons. All that fills the wrath meter until you get to take on Satan. My first experience with it: To be frank, I have played Saints Row IV (sans all of the powers I've yet to unlock there), so Gat out of Hell is exactly like that, with some differences. You roam freely in Hell instead of Virtual Steelport, you don't get to customize Gat or Kinzie's clothes, and you have the ability to fly in this game instead of just gliding in SRIV for example. Also, the beginning part of this video will give you an explination of what happened during the tutorial on my first attempt at recording. Would I recommend it to some degree?: Well, absolutly! Saints Row: Gat out of Hell (and IV in general) are both awesome sandbox games that can be enjoyed! And yes, I've read in the comments section of a video related to it that there are people that were crying over the fact that the last 2 games aren't taking place in the same theme as the first two, but even if you can look past that, there is still so much more fun in those games too! As Angry Joe said it best, it is the best Superman game never made! :3
