Pepe'er Shahi Dalna By Roopporna Bhattacharya Ingredients:- Papaya (diced-boiled with a little salt) Salt (as per taste) Sugar (as per taste) Chopped Tomato (1 pc) Chhola/Chickpea (soaked in water overnight) (2 1/2 tbsp.) Chhana (1/2 cup) Refined Oil (2 tbsp.) Ghee (1 1/2 tbsp.) Bay Leaf (1 pc) Dried Chilli (2-3 pc) Turmeric Powder (1/2 tbsp.) Red Chilli Powder (1/2 tbsp.) Cumin Powder (1/2 tbsp.) Coriander Powder (1/2 tbsp.) Garam Masala Powder (1/2 tbsp.) Hot Water (1 cup) Powdered Milk (2 tbsp.) Ginger Paste (1/2 tbsp.) Procedures:- First heat ghee and oil in a pan and temper with bay leaf and dried chilli. Now add the boiled papaya pieces and fry a little. Add the soaked chhola and stir for a bit. Then add the chopped tomatoes and cook it for a bit. Now add the masala one by one turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and a little salt. Mix the masala well. Add the chhana and a little amount of sugar. Then mix them again and cook them for a bit. Now add the powdered milk mixed water in it and add a little ginger paste. Mix them well and let it cook for 5 minutes. Now add some ghee on top and stir a bit. The pepe'er shahi dalna is ready to serve.
