All the product links are given in the description video below. So without further ado, let's jump straight into the video. The sound quality of the Korg LP-380U is very impressive overall. To deliver a dynamic/expressive performance, the acoustic piano voices have been sampled with four velocity layers per note; Korg also does an excellent job with the resonant and mechanical noise, simulating a real piano. The speakers in the Korg LP-380U have the highest output in their class. It might not seem like the most critical feature, but it makes a difference if you play with other instruments. The speakers are positioned under the keyboard, giving the illusion that the sound comes from within the body. Another feature may not seem significant initially, but it all adds to the realism. The LP-380U is equipped with Korg's flagship RH3 keyboard. RH3 stands for Real Hammer-Action, and it feels great. The downside of the LP-380U being so light is that the materials used aren't as robust as possible. The Korg LP-380U provides dual headphone jacks (1/8″), which is something we wish every digital piano offered. The Korg LP-380U isn't the most expensive digital piano on the market, but it's far from entry-level pricing. One of the great things about digital pianos is that they make having a large instrument, such as a piano, efficient. And that's where the AP-270 fits in beautifully. In fact, the AP-270 is an excellent instrument for anyone who covets a traditional piano but realizes that it's simply impractical to have one. Whether that's due to size, weight, or a very high price tag, the AP-270 is a very worthy digital substitute. First, the piano uses the AiR Sound Source, which includes two new grand piano stereo sounds. Another thing that helps the sound stand out is its stereo amplification system. Here, the sound is presented from the top of the piano and the bottom, allowing the sound to envelop the pianist and feel much richer and more depth. The AP-270 comes with two headphone jacks, perfect if you ever plan to use Duet Mode with a friend, student, or teacher. The AP-270 features a relatively robust 60-song music library. And what's really fun is that you can use this music library to learn various songs. This is definitely not an acoustic piano, but that's also not bad. The Casio AP-270 comes with 22 tones, a 60-song music library, 192 note polyphony, and lovely touch response and sound dynamics. The Roland RP-102, like many other Roland digital pianos, features SuperNATURAL piano sound technology. What you'll hear when playing the keys is a rich and full sound, bringing music to life in a way that feels vivid to the ears. And that's a pretty impressive feat because the Roland RP-102 clocks in at approximately $1,000. While that price is nothing to sneeze at, it's certainly less expensive than higher-end Clavinova digital pianos made by Yamaha, which some like to compare the RP-102 against. In terms of the keybed in the RP-102, there's a good chance you'll be just as impressed. The keys feature weighted and graded hammer action with Escapement, which means the keys do their best to replicate the feel of wooden keys on a traditional piano that are hit by actual hammers. =============================== Hey, What's Good!?
