My thoughts on JW Broadcasting 23, with Ronald Curzan (tv.jw.org) - Cedars' vlog no. 153

In this video I give my belated rebuttal to the August 2016 episode of JW Broadcasting, in which Governing Body helper Ronald Curzan reminds Jehovah's Witnesses of the importance of staying loyal to the "faithful and discreet slave" - even to the extent of forgoing "personal rights." The episode also features the life story of a Witness woman who gave up a life of rodeo stardom to eventually become a circuit overseer's wife, a dramatization highlighting the paranoia and rules surrounding courtship for JWs, and a special appearance by Governing Body member David Splane, who sheds light on some fairly unspectacular decisions made by him and his colleagues in recent years.
