Teen victim identified in deadly Portland shooting, investigation ongoing

Portland Police say 14-year-old Marik Roscoe was the victim of a shooting in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood on Sunday, November 16, 2025. "The death of a 14 year old marks the fifth time a minor has lost their life to homicidal violence since 2023," Portland Police Chief Bob Day said during a press conference on Tuesday. The Medical Examiner says that Roscoe died of homicide by gunshot wound.
