Doug is a man who spent nearly 12 years married to a narcissistic woman who tore him down piece by piece. She broke him down little by little, belittling and gaslighting him until he doubted his own reality. She controlled every aspect of his life and constantly berated his son. The stress was relentless—his body responded with eczema flare-ups, a physical manifestation of the emotional hell he was living through.
