Cleveland area weather forecast: Relief from The heat and humidity

Your 6 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for July 6, 2023: Rain and rumbles will be with us through the rest of the evening as a cold front moves through Northeast Ohio. We're not expecting any widespread severe weather but a few storms may have some strong winds and small hail. Otherwise just expect good old fashioned downpours with some lightning before storm begin to fade after sunset. We'll still be a bit humid tonight with lows in the mid 60s. Clouds will linger overnight and into the early portion of our Friday. Friday will feature those lingering clouds giving way to sunshine. You'll notice more comfortable air moving in each hour of the day with the real comfy stuff reserved for our Friday night and Saturday! Temps will reach into the mid and upper 70s. If you're planning your weekend--we'll be talking about another round of rain and storms--likely in the late Saturday into Sunday timeframe. Outside of that, we should be dry and a bit warmer on Saturday with highs into the 80s.
