It was recorded in Bob Walsh's backyard in Cape Fair, Missouri on June 22 and 23, 1984. According to McCann, "Bob had this gathering for a number of years until it got too big to handle at his home. He and his wife Hazel also fed most of their guests. Some contributed food, but there were also a number who took advantage of the situation. The whole thing got out of hand." H.K.
