SAHPRA approves Africa’s first oral Covid vaccine clinical trial
The South African Health Regulatory Products Authority has granted approval for Africa’s first oral Covid vaccine clinical trial. It is expected to get underway this month. US company Oramed Pharmaceuticals says it will not be using Pfizer or J&J vaccines in its tablets because its product is a strong candidate against the evolving Covid virus due to its unique targeting of three.
