Hippies always came in all sorts of shapes, sizes and backgrounds. From the liberal enclaves in the Northeast and West coasts of the U.S. to the urban areas of Memphis and Birmingham to the hills of West Virginia and Tennessee. So it's nice to see recognition that comin' from the hills (or having that general, down to earth, don't take no crap mindset) is no barrier to the peace, love and freedom that is at the core of every hippie heart.
