The story begins with Arata Mizunashi, an employee at a game company, recieves a mysterious Email from a missing work buddy by the name of Shina Ninomiya who had gone missing a year ago! They had previously worked on a VRMMO known as World's Odyssey (WOD) which had been scrapped due to Shina's disappearance. The Email Arata points to Shina's location... inside WOD! He quickly delves into the game in order to find her, but finds a game riddled with bugs along with an amnesiac Shina. He aims to free her from the game... but would you believe it... it's a SAO situation! The Logout button is gone! Only one thing to do, complete the game in order to free Shina! However... the Email has seemingly set in motion a chain reaction of events in the real world a the stock markets go into chaos and devices worldwide are infected by a virus! Also she gets her head bitten off at the start! What's that about!? (Finally somone noticed the errors, so I fixed it here!!) Death end re;Quest is available on PlayStation 4.
