Dark Souls SL6 Deprived Part 03

Despite what the video may show otherwise, I have done a practice run of this. Trust me. Please refer to the first video for the full list of restrictions because there are quite a few of them. Today we have ourselves two bosses and a boat load of mini bosses in one video. Sad to say, the hydra is the one I fuck up the least on. HYDRA(0:04 - 4:05 for the Golems, 4:32 - 7:42 for the actual Hydra): Hydra is actually not all that bad once you get close. It's getting rid of the Golems and not getting water blasts to the face that's the tricky part. At least the golems have a large wind up time so if you get multiple on them it's at least somewhat manageable. Also I never knew of the Hydra trick before Emarrel's SL1 NG+7 run. Outright stealing the tricks used in that run will be a running theme throughout this playthrough. Also I attuned Soul Arrow solely for that last Hydra head. Magic's use will be pretty much limited to exactly two enemies in the entire game. GOLD GOLEM(8:08 - 10:05): He hits harder and can take more punishment. That's the only difference between him and the other golems. Also you can kinda see Dusk inside of the giant crystal. It's a nice touch. Although what isn't nice is that I make plenty of dumb mistakes on him. That will also be a running theme. The Dusk Crown will be a HUGE life saver and will make some bosses possible when otherwise I would be doing the equivalent of smashing my face against a concrete wall hoping it will cause it to crumble. MOONLIGHT BUTTERFLY(15:08 - 17:55 for all the failed attempts. Successful attempt: 17:58- 22:14): I am an idiot and I kept trying to hypermode it when it lands to do more damage. So I died a lot more than I had any right to against it (i.e. more than zero). Otherwise pretty easy if you just block the attacks with the Crest Shield and dodge what you can't reasonably block. Also you'll only see the wolf ring being used against the Capra Demon since I'll never have enough health for tanking hits to be viable. CAPRA DEMON(25:30 - 28:08): At the beginning the Capra will almost always do that leap attack which is easy to dupe. Once you get on the stairs you can deal with the real boss of this whole fight: the two dogs. Otherwise not too bad but the room really doesn't lend itself to dodging well against him. That's my excuse. Picking up the Large Ember to both make my shield better but also because you need a +10 base weapon to make it lightning. So I have one Longsword that will be a Fire +10, one that will be a Lightning +5 and the third will be a Divine +5. Also that giant rat segment was even more embarassing than my attempt to plunging attack the first Butcher and any of my other boss attempts combined. Oh well. At least next time I'll have to work towards things like Pyromancy, the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, a new pair of slightly torn pants and upgrade materials. Thankfully you don't have to watch most of the grinding I'll have to do for that.
