Living life on the edge- Riding next to a 200 meter drop !

Day 3 Episode 7 of my Solo Oman Tour In this episode I continue from where I left off. After spending the whole morning finding help to pick up my bike,my plans for the day revised a bit. I decided to first head to the cliff face where I carefully ride along the edge that sits a sheer 200 meters off the ground. I have fun taking some photos and decide that instead of moving on that night, that I want to catch sunrise here. I head over to the local village on the top of Jebel Shams where the local kids recognize me from 3 years prior when I visited them with my boyfriend on a KTM990 LINK TO THAT VIDEO HERE:    • Traveling Oman on a KTM 990 Motorcycle - A...   Usually when I revisit a place I always bring them their photographs that I took , but I forgot this time :( but they were still excited to see them. I took a nice stroll along the canyon rim. If you reach all the way to the end there is a spot where you can do a Via feratta up ( climbing with wires bolted into rock) and there is also an abandoned village at the very end. The village is made of mud rock and is built directly into the side of the cliff. people were still living in this village less than 20 years ago !!! If you ever visit Oman I recommend doing the whole walk and the via feratta up.
