My husband's favorite recipe! He asks me to cook it almost every day! Simple and delicious These potato patties are weeknight comfort in its coziest form: a golden crust outside and a juicy, creamy chicken-mushroom center inside. The base is a quick potato mash enriched with butter, egg, seasoning, and just enough flour to hold its shape while staying tender. Fold in a little grated cheese and herbs if you like for extra aroma. For the filling, sear the diced chicken briefly, add onion and garlic, then mushrooms. Pan-fry over medium heat on both sides until deeply golden. Optionally sprinkle a little cheese on top to melt. Serve hot with sour cream and fresh herbs. The result is hearty, aromatic, and irresistibly comforting. Why you’ll love it: pantry ingredients, one skillet, lunchbox-friendly; scales easily and reheats beautifully.
