Spiderman 2002 teaser trailer (early, original version featuring Peter's mechanical webslingers)

As well liked as the first movie in Sam Raimi's 2000s trilogy of SPIDERMAN starring Tobey Maguire may be (well, the first two parts, anyway), a detail that turned off many of the comics purists was the choice to have Spidey's webbing be "biological", that it was merely one of the powers he gained from the radioactive spider bite (like his "spidey sense"). But WAY back early in the production, the original idea was to follow the comics and have Peter make the mechanism to shoot the webbing himself (he is a genius, after all). One of the very first teasers actually SHOWED that. It's a very quick shot here in this one.
