To vary up the content, I'm going to throw up some fighting game material. My first fighting game was Street Fighter,, but I've played a good bit of them. My favorites would have to be Ultimate MK3, and Marvel vs Capcom series. Now that I've gotten half-respectable in fighting games, I've started to enjoy them more. Mortal Kombat has always been a toss up in certain regards. While there's still a system in place that relies on skill, there are undoubtedly some janky moments in this game. Add to that the unpredictable connection speeds and you have yourself a recipe for inconsistency. I completely forgot that as I stepped out into the ranked streets of Mortal Kombat. Rants aside, I really like using Johnny Cage for the sheer amount of taunts he has for every character. Johnny is hands down the best trash talker in the game, and the closest the game's gonna get to a troll. For the fisticuffs variation, he doesn't gain much...just a buff that grants 2x chip damage and a rapid punch combo (kombo?) that holds opponents down. That combo alone is trolling at it's finest, but I didn't get that salty that I'd have to rely on it. I am not at all impressed with my performance, but I stopped playing ranked once I got my 10 wins in a row. Though I did hop back on for a good 6 matches with Johnny like a month ago...and I had no problems then, only losing 2 out of the 4 matches. Go figure. Since I streamed on the best quality on a connection speed that's not the fastest, these matches are heavily flawed and do not at all represent my ability. I'm almost tempted to delete this pitiful showcase.
