Happy 35 years to Sonic! Wow! Sonic will always hold a special place for me. I did not have NES or SNES growing up. My first gaming experience was PC. Had the classic point and clicks and the FPSs but I desperately wanted a console after seeing my friends play SF and Mario. Christmas ‘91 comes around so I put it on the list. My parents went out to get it until they saw the promo station for SEGA with a cheaper price tag and an included game - Sonic the Hedgehog. First console game I ever played and I think I ran Sonic 1 and 2 straight through 50 times each. Here’s to Sonic 🍻 still running!
