Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Walkthrough Gameplay Part 1 - Intro - (Xbox Series X) Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Walkthrough Gameplay Part 1 This video includes the 1st part of Call of Duty Black Ops 7 that is played on the Xbox Series X. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a 2025 first-person shooter video game co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the twenty-second installment of the Call of Duty series and is the eighth main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Set in 2035—ten years after the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012)—Black Ops 7's campaign follows JSOC Commander David Mason (Milo Ventimiglia) and his team of agents, codenamed "Specter One", as they investigate the apparent return of deceased Nicaraguan terrorist Raul Menendez and his threat to "burn the world down" in three days.[2] Working alongside David in Specter One are operatives Mike Harper (Michael Rooker), Eric Samuels (John Eric Bentley), and Leilani "50/50" Tupuola (Frankie Adams), as well as Colonel Troy Marshall (Y'lan Noel), who oversees JSOC's Tier 1 operations. Also involved in the investigation of Menendez is "The Guild", a former criminal organization turned technology corporation led by its CEO, Emma Kagan (Kiernan Shipka) Specter One is sent to Avalon to investigate possible links between the Guild and a leaked video depicting a seemingly alive Menendez. After infiltrating a laboratory, the entire team is ambushed by Emma Kagan and exposed to a hallucinogenic toxin known as "Cradle," which is intended to kill them but instead causes vivid shared hallucinations; the team's survival is enabled by their cybernetic enhancements to their brains and bodies. The first of these shared hallucinations, influenced by David's memories and past traumas regarding the death of his father Alex, involves a return to Nicaragua and a battle against a vision of Menendez, which they overcome. During their escape, Specter One recovers a quantum computer drive, then destroys the laboratory. Cradle escapes containment, contaminating Avalon and forcing a mass evacuation, leaving the Guild's private military in control of the entire area. Specter One meets with hacker Karma, who helps them track down and uncover insider still in Avalon, hoping for more intel. A new hallucination occurs as they find him, relating to David's now deceased mentor Frank Woods and his imprisonment and torture by Menendez, culminating in a battle against a hallucination of Frank corrupted by plant life and guilt over accidentally killing Alex. David forgives the hallucination of Frank, who similarly encourages him to heal from his past traumas regarding Menendez. Recovering from the hallucination, Marshall and Karma tell the team that information gleaned from the recovered drive has proven to them that Menendez is indeed dead: the video involved a deepfake recreation of him by Avalon as a red herring so they wouldn't be blamed for their own planned attacks involving Cradle. Needing a quantum computer to analyze the rest of the data on the drive, Specter One takes control of a server farm to find one, and Marshall sends Specter Two, a team led by Razor, to a Guild facility in Tokyo called the Forge to access it. Razor sends what initially appears to be a decryption key for the drive to Karma, but the key instead deletes most of the remaining data, revealing Razor's true allegiance to the Guild. The team experiences further shared hallucinations, battling their way through visions of Samuels' experiences in the 2025 invasion of Los Angeles, a failed mission by Tupuola in Japan, and a giant sized manifestation of Harper's rage during Menendez's attack on the USS Obama. Waking up back in Avalon, Karma sends the team looking for Dr. Gideon Falkner, a scientist researching Cradle's effects on the team's cybernetic chips. Under interrogation, he sends them to another Guild building known as "Sanctum," where Emma once again ambushes them with Cradle. David faces a hallucination of his own father, initially depicted as a cruel and controlling warden of the Vorkuta prison labor camp, but the team restores David's positive memories of his father, and the hallucination of Alex helps them escape to the real world once more.
