Lakhimpur Kheri violence: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav detained

Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has been detained by the UP police while he was staging a protest outside his residence in Lucknow. Akhilesh Yadav was holding a protest in solidarity with the farmers who lost their lives in violent clashes yesterday in Lakhimpur Kheri. The Uttar Pradesh police are detaining these leaders who are trying to reach to show solidarity to the lost lives during the clashes yesterday. Violent clashes were witnessed in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri last evening and a political blame game has now erupted. SP leader was earlier not allowed to visit Lakhimpur Kheri and was put under house arrest as well. Watch!
