Sidhu said he was ready to sacrifice his life for the cause of farmers. Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Randhaw and Cabinet Ministers Pargat Singh, and Vijay Inder Singla, besides former ministers Balbir Singh Sidhu, Gurpreet Kangar and Sunder Shyam Arora were among the leaders seen with Navjot Sidhu in Mohali. Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi is also expected to join the protest on a short while. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
