One injured in officer-involved shooting in Cobb County

One person was injured in a police-involved shooting in Cobb County. It happened Saturday night outside the Shell gas station on Windy Hill Road. Police say a vehicle with three people got into a confrontation with law enforcement. The car tried to drive off, but reportedly hit a curb as police fired shots. It’s unclear whether the shooting involved one or more officers. Police tell FOX 5 one of the people inside the vehicle was shot in the arm or leg by an officer. No officers were injured in the shooting.
