It was a busy night at Agganis arena last evening for an America East basketball double header between Vermont and Boston U. In the first game, the Boston U. women defeated Vermont, 72-64 behind 29 points from Chantell Alford. The win is the Terriers' ninth straight as they remain unbeaten in conference play. Shanai Heber led Vermont with 15 points. In the nightcap, the Vermont men led by as many as 19 in the second half and held off a furious Boston U. run in the closing stages to escape from Agganis with a 68-67 win. Luke Apfeld and Matt Glass combined for 29 points for the Cats while DJ Irving and Darryl Partin combined for 34. Take a look at some of the action from Wednesday night.
