Naomi House Santa Fun Run

Naomi House Santa Fun Run

Steve was delighted to open the Naomi House Santa Fun Run on this crisp, but thankfully dry, Sunday morning on December 6 2009. With Popcorn playing the role of Rudolph, Steve joined Susie, young Emily and dozens upon dozens of fellow charity Santas in running the course, which ran around Winchester Rugby Club, raising money for the Sutton Scotney-based Childrens' Hospice. Steve said: "Most of Winchester is aware of the tough year Naomi House has had, with over £5m tied up in a failed Icelandic bank. Although we had a stormy night, we were lucky the rain stayed off this morning, and it was great to see so many people out supporting the hospice."
