TODAY'S GOSPEL: John 13:1-15 Today is Holy Thursday, the beginning of the great Easter Triduum. The Gospel of John reminds us that the washing of the feet is proof of the loving and humble service of the Lord. That the Lord himself is the first and foremost servant leader of the Christian community, and may this inspire us to lead and serve in the same way. As we celebrate the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, let us celebrate the gift of the Eucharist in our lives. Every time we participate in the mass, it gives us the grace to be faithful followers of Christ, and enables us to live out our Christian vocation, live a life of service, and live a life patterned after the Cross and Resurrection.
