Using Acoustics and eDNA Innovations to Study Blue Whales

Blue whales are the largest animals to have ever lived and are now an endangered species. Scientists at PMEL use a combination of underwater sounds and eDNA sampling to study blue whales off the Oregon coast with the goal of better understanding and protecting them.
