Sunday February 6th was the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation. RAHMA had the opportunity to host a panel titled: FGM/C Legislation and the Road Ahead. Our keynote speaker was Imam Mohamed Magid. He explained how Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) has no place in Islam and the harmful effects it can cause.
