Throne Watcher and Throne Defender (EASY WIN) — Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin (PS4)

Throne Watcher and Throne Defender, first boss of the Throne of Want. I was worried these two would be like Ornstein and Smough (with the added nuisance of reviving each other if one falls and the other isn't killed quick enough). However, the strategy I used here worked BEAUTIFULLY. By using Havel's Greatshield for defense, and poking from behind the shield with the Chariot Lance, I was able to deal damage while taking none myself. I alternated between the two targets to make sure that when one was on the brink, the other would quickly follow. This would prevent the survivor from reviving his partner. One thing to watch out for is Defender's move where he impales you on his sword, dealing massive damage. It can pierce through shields, so it needs to be dodged. It killed me, but then I learned to watch for its long windup. Oh, and a bit of trivia: I actually beat them twice tonight, but the first time I didn't record the video. So I backed up from USB and fought them again!
